Water in Fuel Warning/Amber Light - one off?
Hi
I had a single Amber Light and 'Water in Fuel' message a couple of days ago, vehicle seemed to continue to drive normally and no sense restricted performance. The Warning and Amber light cleared on the next restart and hasn't come on again since in 3 relatively short journeys.
I'm wondering could this just be a 'one-off' rogue indication or is it more likely to be an early indication of the failing sensor/filter housing which is well recorded on this forum?
My vehicle is under an extended warranty with Warranty Direct so wondering if I should be making a booking to have it checked out or see how things develop?
