Driving through puddles on the road more than a few inches deep, results in a massive wave of water over the windscreen and bonnet.I have never experienced anything like this before in over 30 years of driving, in dozens of types of vehicles. Is this a dangerous design fault by Land Rover?
I think you should slow down
or don't drive through puddles!I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

Puddles, Rivers, Lakes, Paddling Pools and Specially Designed Water Splashes are fine to drive through just slow down In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

When I was over in Scotland before Christmas, I experienced this. While it was fun and impressive to start with, I eventually decided I should slow down a bit going through puddles and the problem went away.
Only faced the ''problem'' once here in 12 months. (Only time we have had decent rain.) Can't wait for some more to get the truck muddy again. Wipers on full before the puddle helps.
Cheers & Regards

.......assuming the puddles locally to you hve not frozen yet
has anyone tried laying their cloak in the puddle before driving through to see if this helps?...I believe this technique has been used in the past...... end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......

Believe me, we are very jealous! Yes we do have lots of puddles, big ones, but I would swap it for your climate anyday.

Around the Broads moderate puddles are everywhere and slowing down for them is not practical, nor is avoiding them.
Water over the bonnet is fun and OK in the D3 - leave the autowipers on and you will be amazed at how quick it is to respond. I reckon it is quicker than my reflexes. The response is a little slower at night though 2008.5 D3 HSE, Stornoway, Ebony

mine does this too. Has anyone with this happening got front mud flaps? Maybe they help?“There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€
