Watch TV in your D3! (and on your iPhone)
I have an SE with the factory fit Rosen roof-mount player. Using an iPhone with a 3G (or Wifi) connection you can watch TV on your D3 screen.
I have bought a composite AV cable off ebay (you have to have a genuine Apple one) and plugged that into the auxiliary video connection.
Go to http://iphone.tvcatchup.com/ and BBC1, BBC2, BB3, ITV1, ITV2, CH4, E4, Film4, More4, Music4 and CH5 are all available. It even works on the move if you keep the 3G signal.
You can also get all the freeview channels on your PC at www.tvcatchup.com

very good,,, thanks for that, now watching tv on the iphone..one wife.......livid
My daughter was saying that there was something going around the Uni before she left that the licensing authorities were supposed to be chasing the students with laptop computers for TV licenses......Hope fully she may have just picked up an a rumour but I wouldn't put it past the b rds.
As I said Ady I wouldn't put anything past those blood sucking b ds. The vast majority of students will never watch TV on their computers but the blood suckers still think they have the right to get them. That's like fining you for speeding just because the car you own can go faster than the speed limit not because you have been caught breaking the limit. And of course these are the people who can most afford to pay this along with the £400 per month halls rent...I say again "Blood Sucking B rds"
Almost makes you want to rant.
Trev.

All that link takes you to is a site saying "Sorry, our service is not yet available in United States" Now an ex-D3 owner after 7 happy years. Miss the car but not the big bills
