Warrantywise ...
Was in for my MOT last week and a quick check on why my FBH has stopped working, there was also a misfire that has been picked up at tickover. So now it's time to see if Warrantywise live up to all their hype of"no weasel words", fingers crossed as it is probably going to be a new FBH and possibly an injector or two. Booked in next week for the work and my frst claims in over 18 months of paying the premiums,Joined the BMWX5 45e group

Car has now been away for a week, the FBH seems to have been fixed, a £1.96 part that comes to just a tad under £100 fitted, thats right on my warranty excess
The biggest problem is the misfire at idle though, cylinders 4 & 6 have a fluctuating fuel supply, injector wiring has all been checked and the injectors are now being removed for test alsong with a compression test, thats 7 hours labour at £85 an hour plus VAT and I don't even know if its a warranty claim yet Could everyone keep their fingers crossed for me
Having said that, this car has been brilliant up to now, only silly little things happening that really hasn't cost much more than servicing, is this revenge of the dealer . Joined the BMWX5 45e group

Just had the "are you sitting comfortably" call from Shields.
Basically I have a couple of injectors that just aren't playing and 4 that are leaking, coming to a grand total of £3,200 to buy and replace all 6 injectors. It is just being put to Warrantywise now, absolutely everything is now crossed. Joined the BMWX5 45e group

presumably that includes all of the diagnostic work that has gone on. MOST warranty companies won't day for diagnostics, only the part at whatever LR's book timings are for it.Bodsys Brake Bible

I actually bought the warrantywise policey because it is makes a big point of no weasel words and supposedly pays for the diagnostics, once the repair has been authorised, so here's hopingJoined the BMWX5 45e group
