Warranty lenght on approved parts installed by Indie
Guys
Got a compressor that was installed less than 6 months ago though a well known indie (apparently purchased via a LR dealer). Its failed again. What do you think the parts warranty would be?
I'm reading 1 year if installed by approved dealer but cant find anything about buying off the shelf.
I did have a alternator go twice on a L332 years ago within a year and that indie (different) replaced under warranty.
I'm a little squeaky at the moment..

All genuine LR parts are covered by a 2yr warranty if purchased through a main dealerMy D3 Build Thread

So the dealer has confirmed that the truck and the faulty part have to be inspected by themselves and if it is faulty it was be replaced under warranty at no cost for part or the labour.
All new to me but fine as long as indie are 100% sure.
Dealer service lady already snooty that truck is 54 plate. Booked in for 22 May. 3 weeks!!!!!!

Part is covered, labour isn't.
So Land Rover give me a faulty part and then make me pay for the privilege of them replacing for me at full dealer labour rates.

Indie fitted original one, it broke, indie swapped with a test unit and confirm it was the compressor.
LR Dealer wouldn't swap. Insisted that vehicle had to go to them for inspection. Which it now is at.
Although I suppose I could say at that stage, do you agree its faulty? Yes? Then leave it in the boot and Ill drive it up to indie to install it, thanks.

Well picked it today. Compressor changed.
Drove home. Got on the drive. Went up. Went down. Levelled.
Went in the house. Came out. Drove off. Bing. Suspension fault.
I’m going for a secondary fault. There was an error on the plugin of not venting. Hopefully it’s that---------------------------------
