Warranty dispute - Air suspension issue

Got 6 months warranty on used d3 and Have had a couple of air suspension warnings, the first was diagnosed as a ride height sensor which they exchanged no problem, here we re only two weeks on nd the same error message! This time the dealer said the fault code is pointing at compressor and relay issue and wanted to replace however they had to call the warranty assessor to approve, of course he wanted to see the fault for himself, he did this and stated that there was no fault as the suspension worked when he tested it? However every time I lift to full height it takes a while and then when I select normal it starts to lower but then starts lifting again asking me to remove obstacle and the select normal position again, anyway no obstacle......most annoying. Anyone had the same issue as I need to call the warranty company myself as there is still an issue which is unresolved... Big Cry

Hello there,

I've had similar issues before; chased the warranty company for a claim, to no avail. They stood firm on only paying out for parts that were totally out of order and not merely on the way out.

Paid for it myself as it was bugging me. New compressor, back to normal.

In my experience it's not worth chasing warranty company, in my case warranty direct.

I chased and went through all loop holes and went to underwriter and loop holes again and got nowhere.

Wasted hours and weeks inbetween and still had to pay so my advice is give in and cough up Thumbs Up
