Warranty Direct price.. thoughts please??
Hey all,
The warranty on my disco runs out on Feb 6th an i been ringing about to get a few prices.
Warranty direct called me today and said they would do their LuxuryCare cover for £520 a year - but interest free over a year - which sounds pretty decent to me.
Was always a bit sceptical about them - but in November they paid out near £2k for the gearbox on my 330d touring (which has 120k on the clock!!)
Not sure where it would be repaired though - my BMW was just taken to a network garage and not the main dealer.07 Disco 3 HSE ... JB with EB

Good price, haggle in Turbo, "Airbags & Emissions" and "No betterment" and make sure main dealer rates. Had latter added, price went up £50 but added an extra month's cover. Been very happy with WD, claims all paid and as long as you don't want it to cover every rattle it does exactly what it says on the tin. Key thing is it covers wear & tear after 90 days.

They have a policy that as you cross mileage bands the claim gets a percentage knocked off, increasing with miles. You can loose this for £50 or £60 ISTR and when I asked for this the £50 also gave me a 13 month policy so effectively free. Turned out nice again!!
