what have warranty direct paid for

hi guys
what have warranty direct paid out for you?
what havent they?
they turned down a air con claim for me ,the excuse was the faulty part bolted to the commpressor so was non & void {quality one )
what Censored me off the most was the labour from the stealers to tell me what was wrong £302 for 4 hrs because they said half the engine had to come out to access the faulty part.wouldnt mind part was only £100+the dreaded total cost just under £500 so wd been very poor for me.
would love someone on here to put a list up so we all can compare for future claims
cheers daz Thumbs Up

Over the last two years I had the air suspension compressor replaced and both front wishbones. The wishbones were done at separate times so went through as different claims.

I've had two claims - an alarm component and the FBH ECU replaced on my Full Fat. I paid extra for Main Agent cover with WD, they cover the cost of diagnosis even if the eventual fault is found not to be covered, but you have to get authorisation first.

Pretty happy so far.

Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter How can the compressor not be part of the suspension? It's amazing the crap these companies come up with. Hope you threatened them with legal action. I'd have given it a go.

So far for me WD have paid up for new ARB bushes (c£200 incl wheel balancing, I think it was) and a new alternator last week (they authorised but I haven't put the claim in yet - I guess they'll honour it. That was £307 fitted by main stealer).

Thumbs Up

I had a quick look at Warrenty Direct and their is different levels of cover depending on mileage. So if over 70k miles the I think it said named parts, so worth reading the small print.

What level of cover did you have, Basic or Luxury? it does make a difference. It is worth reading the terms and conditions on what cover you have as they are all laid out very simply and clearly in my opinion.

My LR warranty runs out very soon and I will then be under the Warranty Direct Luxury care package, so hope all goes well should I need it.
