Maybe you DID get no betterment then, and they haven't realised, are you sure you didn't read about it on the forum and get them to add it at the time

Every call is recorded, so no problem, tell them to go and listen to it

My policy docs do NOT say no betterment, despite a £50 surcharch, but I DO have several calls (recorded if what you say is correct ) and several emails, chasing for the correctly worded docs
We have 2x lite covers, no claims in 6 months so far...

As I said, you are a member of this forum where every minor detail is discussed, you are not that stupid not to have asked to have no betterment included, after all your mate DSL did
Keep your cool and let us know how you get on, they really are nice people as far as insurance people go, I have just extended mine for another two years with Luxury Care................after reading DSL hints and tips, got a great price, luckily age is not in the betterment or no betterment category yest, but when it is I will be ready.
I am a pensioner and would rather have peace of mind than a huge unexpected bill as I couldn't afford that

From memory I got Extra Care (Secure Care next level down doesn't cover suspension, had loads of those), 13 months for 12, dealer rates, no betterment, airbags and emissions and just (last summer) extended for 2 years. Claimed for lots of stuff but not everything is covered, you can't expect to run an old D3 without deepish pockets if you're not a home mechanic. Presently having rear transfer box output shaft seal changed c/o WD, it's a transfer box out job so is covered.
