Every year I try and squeeze no excess out of them and every year I fail. Life's so unfair!!

i didn't get a good deal it seems. £530 for 13 months but betterment applied as did the excess. However they have paid out the one time i needed it for the EGR but still cost me circa £130. James favourite hobby is writing in the third person.

Got the same but £1200, excesses , no betterment, airbags and emissions and dealer rates. Not to unhappy as always had more back than the premiums. Prob couldn't get no excess as I was at 92k and 6 years (now 102k & 7 years). Still what I have is better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.

I firmly believe in the principle of insurance, spreading the risk. I spread my risk. I spread my risk as far away as poss. Far too much experience paying out for this car to think that'll stop anytime soon.
