I've been driving Defenders for the last 35 years.Have now upgraded to a D3 (or is it a down grade) Since I bought this car six months ago I've enjoyed every moment driving it. We have been to Botswana and I suspect that the quality of the fuel started my problems, After "Engine system fault" appeared and a new high pressure fuel pump was fitted I've been bombarded with messages on the dash board. Transmission fault, Special programs not available,Suspension fault. Brake pad warning signal. All these messages did not affect the car's perfofmance and when I stop and switch off the ignition and switch it on again , everything is back to normal. Where should I start looking for a cure for this illness.
