[Wanted] XXV wanted. Must have full service history.
I know they are rare as hens teeth but they come up for sale now and again. I'm in the market and can wait for a decent one.
Please let me know what you have/see.
I have eliminated all 5 on the market at the moment (as at 11.6.20) through Autotrader/PistonHeads.
Thanks

Why did you pass on those 5? Wrong colour(s), too many miles?
There is one on AutoTrader in Yeovil at Land Rover currently.
It's exactly like mine but it has 10k more miles.
The one in Blackburn has been there months and there is a silver one kicking around. I avoided those too and there was one in Cardiff that was a nail.
Good luck.In today's world, if you contribute something, you don't contribute enough. If you contribute nothing, you receive everything.

Hello, thanks for the response.
Yes, seen those. The Yeovil one I'd have jumped at but it is sold but LR 'leave them on the website until the final invoice has gone through'... I have my name down as reserve. The Blackburn one is also sold and was a definite but I was too late. There's one at a second hand dealer in Essex but it has no credible history. Whilst the MoT check backs up the history that the dealer then managed to belatedly acquire some SH from a LR dealer nearby, that suddenly reverts to km for the last three years and frankly seems rather bland in what they have carried out. It is also a bit too tatty imho.. Private one for sale in Kent but I've locked horns with the seller whom I found 'testing' and have no further interest in it. One on EBay in silver but has a full black interior (I prefer the lighter colour) and is up on miles.
I can wait and watch...

Shame about the Yeovil one. If I was still looking I would have been very interested in that one too.
When I was looking I had "a list" and ended up with an XXV - discovered it was a "bit rare" so that sealed the deal I guess!
