Wanted - Supplier of 18" Grabber AT2's |
|
DG International promised me a set of (5) 18" AT2's for next Saturday --- but now they say they can't get them they're still on 'back order'
I want these before the Boughrood weekend as I don't want to -up my 19"' road wheels
Anyone know where I could get these at a reasonable price? (incl fitting)
I don't want to travel too far though

If you ring Micheldever and pay for them (they are the UK importer for General Tire), I can collect them tomorrow and bring them up to the SE meet?

I've just tried the www.micheldever.co.uk website but it's 'under construction'
It redirects to the Protyre site - but checking their tyre range they don't seem to do a 255/60/R18 tyre
I see they have an Enfield branch - maybe I'll phone them tomorrow
NoDo$h - thanks for the offer but I don't know where I'd get the old rubbers dismounted and new ones fitted. Most of the tyre places near here are run by imports and not very obliging
TFC - again thanks but a little too far away Iain

Protyre and 4site4x4 are the same people, owned by Micheldever. Trust me, they DO have the 255/60/18 AT2s as they are the company that bring them into the country and I've had 8 off them in the last 6 months. Last couple I bought were about £125 a tyre. Failing that, try their depot at
Stortford Performance Tyres
Unit 7 & 8
Raynham Close
Bishops Stortford

Tel: 01279 466466
They'll be able to get them in within 24 hours. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Tazdaz - I got mine from R M Tyres in Medway, just down the road from me @ £108 per tyre in September. I'll call them in the morning and see what they can do, and will send you a PM. If they can get them tomorrow I could bring them to the SE Pub Meet or if you want them fitted, it's not that far from you, probably about 30-40 minutes. Dissapointed that DG International weren't able to get them for you TazDaz.
I found him good.
He got my Grabber UHP's and STT's specifically in for me.
And these are tyres he doesn't normaly stock.
...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Has anyone got a contact number for Tazdaz? R M tyres have got hold of 5 AT2s that they can get for Thursday/Friday but they need to know in the next couple of hours whether to order them in or not. I have sent him a PM but he has not picked it up yet.
If you don't want to divulge his number to a 'stranger', PM me and I'll send you my contact number to pass on....
