Sold my road going motorbike and was thinking of hanging the helmet up for good but realise I still want some wheels in garage for (very) fair weather usage but 'long trips' no longer need the types of 'bikes I've had.
Looking for a bit of a project/rebuild and a large capacity single-cylinder thumper is type of thing I'm after or slight possibility of a two cylinder type.
Age, mileage, condition fairly irrelevant but a 'runner' with MOT better so can use a bit ahead of a winter rebuild.
Plan to do a full restoration job, not quite a nut & bolt rebuild but bringing something well up to scratch.
Anyone got/know of something suitable?
