[Wanted] SAT NAV DISC D4 NEW AS POSSIBLE
I have 2011 D4 , I am looking to update UK maps , 2018 onward please.

what age is your D4 ?
I Believe the early 2010-2011 D4 was hard drive maps but impossible to update yourself and majorly expensive at a dealer.
The later 2012-2016 D4 are updated via USB (I think a disc update is possible but not sure)

You will need to get one from LR or a "satnav i shop" on Google. Needs the VIN of your car to get an activation code.

profile says 2006 D3, thread starts off saying 2011 D4.
Neither are upgradeable to 2018+ maps.
There is an upgrade but it only gets you to about 2015 IIRC .... but it costs more than it's worth.
Cheaper to get an Android tablet running Google Maps..

Anyway - best off with a Waze or something as you say. That's what I use.

I have never given a thought to updating my profile, several changes since I joined.
Now 2011 D4 .
Sound like update is going to be expensive and only through dealer, is that correct?
