[Wanted] Late model D4 HSE in Ireland |
|
Hi, currently have a MY2014 HSE and would like to move to a later 2016 but not interested in the N1 / 5 seater commercials. Needs to be a HSE of Landmark.

Still looking!
Did a bit of research on importing one from UK as that seems to be the largest market. So, on top of a purchase price of about €30k for a reasonable vehicle, I will have to pay a further €15k for vehicle registration tax. I expected that, as bitter a pill it would be to swallow. But also due to Brexit, I would also have to pay a VAT charge on top of that of over 20% of the vehicle value, including the VRT. So, now a 2016 HSE for about £27k from the UK would cost me over €55k to put on the road here.
FFS!

No afraid not, have stuck with my 2014HSE for now, don't want anything other than a 2016HSE Lux or Landmark but UK no longer an option really - can't justify spending over €50k on one.
Thought I was sorted with one from Tralee, a 2016 black HSE but it turned out the engine had been replaced with a RR Sport engine, but no details. Had to give it back, it was perfect other than that but again it was top dollar.
But the market is so limited. Northern Ireland is a slightly better option at the moment as at least you don't have to pay the VAT.
Good luck with the search
