As I have a satellite dish I'm looking for an old unused/unloved Freesat box for a spare bedroom.
Don't have an aerial so Freeview no use
Anyone?

Why not use Chromecast? its only £20 and works really well.  New Defender L663 110 SE (known as Noddy!)

Don't really want anything else running on the broadband as when we have a house full we have about 20 devices running

will an old sky box do you? I acquired a couple to run our tv on freesat but recently discovered that the tv has its own decoder. I have two matching boxes but only one remote I think. Not such a Disco Newbie now!

They work but are big and bulky and theres no way of deleting all the channels that don't work.
I have 1 somewhere but would prefer the real deal

Did you get sorted with this? I’ve got a Comag SL30/12 box that I had for the caravan until we got a TV with built in decoder. Still boxed.
