I agree with you, see if he sells after the viewing, I’ve looked at 6 already 🤦🏻 It’s a 2.5 hour drive from me as well.

Buying right is important with these cars. Get it wrong and you're in a whole heap of trouble and cost.
I wouldn't worry about distance to get then right car. I bought my D4 unseen from Edinburgh. I flew up, did the deal in McDonalds at 10pm near Edinburgh airport and drove home. New Defender L663 110 SE (known as Noddy!)

Travel not the issue travelling to find they aren’t as described is the issue, not hard to be honest, last one was 6 hour round trip got there could see the filler in the quarter walking up to it, said he hadn’t noticed it in the 3-4 years he had owned it 🤷🏻♂️ To some people it’s a just a car and if it’s clean they think that it is mint. I will keep looking in no rush, and funds may change again

for that money you can get a facelift 2014+ if you look hard enough
I got two of them here and both were under £13k
ones a optioned up Red XS with brembo 6 pot brakes etc in the background and the blue one in foreground is a XS commercial with a few options inc heated steering wheel.
Both were bought off Landy guys and both have been spot on so far, will megaflush both as a precaution in new year though along with transfer box n diff oils and a full check over.

I know the price is good, but sticking to my budget as there will be bits I will want to sort on the new one, and it will sell if someone wants it, he dropped the price so maybe be soon then.
You got lucky with them two then, find me one 😂
