[Wanted] D3 drivers black leather seat |
|
Well it’s time to do something with the drivers seat.
There’s a rip on the base of seat (usual place)
Can these be repaired , or will I have to replace the base / full seat
It’s an 06 plate SE model
All advice / donations will be muchly appreciated

A place in Birmingham called Tappers can do the repair for something around £95. I have no experience of the company except that my indi recommended them. I spoke to a guy on their stand at the caravan show at the NEC recently and he quoted me. Apparently they do quite a lot of them. They need the car for 4 hours and they do what is required. Will be taking mine in sometime soon.
Suggest you look for somewhere nearer home. There must be others about and from what I can gather the job is pretty straight forward and a whole lot cheaper than a new cover or a new seat. Best of luck.

I’ve got what looks to be a spring starting to push up on the seat leather - before it goes through is it DIYable to get enough access from underneath to get some padding in there?? formerly Disco3Ben
