[For Sale] Genuine LR TPMS valves.
I have a contact who occasionally has stock of TPMS valves. These are the latest LR version and taken off LR wheels when customers want different style/size rims.
I'm going to buy a set of 5 from him and he's got another set of 5. The price will be £25 each plus postage. You can get them cheaper on eBay etc. but sometimes they don't work or aren't genuine. I've had a two sets from him in the past and also got a set for another forum member and never had any problems.
Let me know ASAP as I'll be getting my set soon. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

I'm tempted by cheaper ones, but the aggro and cost of refitting the tyres, balancing etc. if they don't work isn't worth it for the sake of an extra £50-60 for a set of 5 genuine ones from a proven source.
BTW, you can buy 4 not 5.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Is the D4 electronics capable of monitoring vales additional to the ones on the vehicle?A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.

No idea, I've always just had the valves fitted to all rims inc.spare and the system has sorted it out.
When transporting rims with TPMS valves, I've not had any warnings triggered.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

I've only offered these to other forum members on two occasions that I've needed a set for myself. Although I was reminded today that they come up regularly. So if anyone else needs a set of 4 or 5, send me a PM and I'll check if any are available. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

I would be interested in a set of these, but what else is needed to make this work on the car. Does it need to be enabled etc?

If you have the TPMS as standard (MY14 onwards) then you just fit the valves and the system automatically recognises them.
I've changed the rims on my MY14 ,MY15 & 2 X MY16 D4's and have yet to have any issues. Other than the cost of buying the TPMS valves and getting them fitted.
You really do need to get the wheels balanced again when changing the valves.
I don't hold these valves, but a set or two are normally available. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Cheers for the response, I thought it seemed too easy......lol
My MY12 does not have TMPS, I thought there was some clever system that all you had to do was to fit the valves.
I guess not.

I've just seen that your D4 is an MY12 model. Unless it was specified as an option, you'll not have the TPMS system as standard.
I've not heard of anyone retrofitting the LR TPMS system. I'd imagine it would be much more cost efficient to fit one of the aftermarket systems. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE
