Recently I have noticed my disco not being as precise(bit of wandering) on the road as it used to be (93,000 mls) advised to put it down to either of the following:
Tyres getting to limit 3mm
ARB bushes
Work carried out :- 4 New Goodyears and all ARB bushes (with mod) and 4 drop links replaced.
Results better but still not as good as it used to be.Initially I had suspected shocks (previous post) but had been advised to concentrate on the above first. Disco has full detailed service history with no shocks being replaced........is it time? in the past my disco 2 had 2 sets at 150,000 and due a 3rd
cheers

The worn tyres would have been my first guess. Have you checked the tyre pressures? a couple of psi difference can change the handling a lot.
The way the old tyres wore out can reveal a lot about the state of the car's alignment. did they wear evenly? any feathering of the tread blocks etc?
I'm no expert on what the wear patterns mean - but I suspect there are a few around here Long succession of Disco's since 2001...
SIII Lightweight - neglected & rusting. Bulkhead, A panels, vent panel & outriggers now disintegrated - Next years project!
