Red Merle makes a very good point, how long are you planning on keeping your new car? If it is going to be long term then value wise it isn't likely to make any real difference.
I owned my first ever brand new car for 9 years and the second one for about 7, so for both of those it would have made no difference.
However, if it is on a 3 year PCP finance deal for example then that might be more of an issue if you planned to part exchange it or sell it at the end.Andy
