Jetta is in reasonable shape, actually. Cockpit is intact and doors look useable. No longer a D3 owner but still subscribed to multiple threads!

When we test-drove a D3, a Twingo went into the back of us in a queue at some lights. Result:
D3 - tiny scratch on rear bumper
Twingo - bonnet not quite as bad as the Jetta's, headlights smashed, coolant everywhere, altenator not turning ...
I know where I'd rather be (not that I'd want to be in a Twingo anyway ...)
