Voice Recognition

Hi Everyone,

just got my 2007 D3 HSE, it has PTI + VR Button.

phone related VR works fine but it does not respond to 'Radio' or 'CD' commands....

is it possible it only has phone VR? if so - can the other commands be installed?

according to the owner manual it has the Premium Audio System...

it does NOT have the Nav system (not even the screen...).

Any suggestions / ideas?

You only have the voice control over the phone system. With this, the voice control module is incorporated into the telephone module. With the full monty voice control, which will operate the navigation and audio systems, the voice control module is actually in the navigation computer module.

So, in short, no - without navigation, not a chance.

Well coming from someone who has the complete VR package you are not missing anything. I can't get it to fully work and if the window is down forget it...I've tried switching between UK-English and US-English and that doesn't help. 2007 LR3 HSE - Zermatt Silver Zermatt Silver

ditto mzaver - I end up doing it manually - she talks at me just like an ex-girlfriend.. "'sorry ....."

one little point - I HAVE had better luck turning my head to the left "A" clomn speaker ( drivers side in the US)
It seems to have an easier time

I wonder if I cleaned up my drawl? LOL Terry D
