My D4 HSE has a build date of October 2012, and came with Vision Assist, which provides 2 forward facing cameras plus two side cameras (in the wing mirror housings), in addition to the rear camera.
Within the camera menu, I have the option of Junction View, which up to now I thought was useless. I had the opportunity to sample a recent HSE, and the "Junction View" was excellent .
It transpired that my vehicle has the two "forward facing" cameras in a different position to later models, and although I have "Junction View" available in my menu, it doesn't do anything.
So, my query is this. Is it just a question of re-locating my front cameras, or does the whole camera system have to be re-worked?
Junction view would be very handy, and if it's only a minor expense, I'd try to get it working. What do all you Technical types think?
I tried to import a couple of photos, but failed dismally!
