Viking Way - Nr Melton

Hello all,

Im new to the Discovery world after owning 3 Defender 90's which i never cared about paint wise...
I just have 2 simple questions for everyone...

1) Is the Viking Way open again?
and...
2) How scratchy is it? I never cared about this before in 2 old 90s and a challenge truck, but a nice shiney D3... I dont want to scratch it (yet)

Any help would help.

Thanks,
Pete

Hi,

I take my D3 down there all the time. Good fun!

In the winter, no scratches at all. In the Summer, when everything is over grown, you will get a couple of scrathes but nothing that a bit of elbow grease won't very easily solve. Very Happy

The D3 will handle anything the Viking way will throw at it so don't worry about any of the deep puddles or steep hills. it'll sail through. Thumbs Up

Biked down here the other day. from the airfield towards Lougborough way the lane is SHUT untill start of 2014, and by the looks of it, it needs a rest for 18 months.
