remember it's an adaptive box, so if the previous driver didn't drive like you, or it's brand new, it will change gear like a lumpen lass from hartlepool changes her scrannies; infrequently, and with a thud
I showed it some photos of my wife and kids before I took it out this morning. Having got to know me better, the gearbox behaved itself, mostly. Overall, I liked it more. The back pain was fixed (I think) by pushing the seat back a little more upright. I still don't like the LCD screen in the instrument binnacle.
But ... it handles superbly well. My strongest advice is to avoid the 20" wheels - they utterly, utterly trash the ride quality, and with Luxembourg's billiard-table roads, that's saying a lot.
Overall, I am discombobulated. I wanted to order this car, but the test drive didn't grab me in the way that the D3 did. The car seems to have lost its character. Having said that, I'm quite prepared to admit that I could be a Luddite: one of those "didn't like the boxy look of the D3" types. I hated the D3 when I first saw it, and love it now. Maybe I should just go buy one?

ND, I know exactly what you mean, but you said it so much better than I could have done.

I had it for 24 hours but I had to give it back.
They're going to give me a RRS to test.

Well, I AM an overpaid management consultant type person I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
