Videos from iPhone to TV

I'm having trouble playing videos from my iPhone to the tv in my discovery (2014). I have tried two different leads the original iPhone lead, I get a msg on the iPhone saying it's being played on the tv but I can't watch it on the tv. My other lead has an aux in and USB to the iPhone, the video just plays on the phone and not on the tv. Any ideas would be great thanks Bow down

I may be wrong but I think this may be a licensing issue for Sky if it's Sky Go+ you're trying. I tried it with the small tv in my caravan without any luck. My mate has an android and it did work for a short time and then they found out and stopped it. Big Cry FFRR 2017 4.4SDV8 Autobiography. Cost so much I must be mad!

What model iphone as you using, if it's the little charging plug I don't think it supports video MY14 post man pat van

And a Suzuki X90... Only drive that at night

Ipads pods and phones are blocked from playing apps like skygo through the AV cable due to licensing as fisherman said.

Ironic as you can do it from a mac or macbook Rolling Eyes
