A healthy alternator will be kicking out in the region of 15 volts at first start up. This will drop to 13.8v to 14.4v after a while but can be weather dependant. It will stay above 14v if cold even on a run.
Stick the meter across the battery terminals and see what you're getting. Mods:

FBH Remote Control
The 1st Ever RRS Modded Grill
Garmin Nuvi + D4 Surround + Reversing Camera.
D4 Steering Wheel.
Rear Boot Spoiler.

Thanks for all the help last week.
Just a heads up, I've managed to get a Duracell Advanced 5 year warranty battery from Eurocarparts for £99 which I'm told is a bargain???
I bought Duracell 4 years ago from Eurocarparts , today its gone , refunded by eurocarparts as it has 5 years warranty. but i have a problem now with my Disc3, a message appears on my Dashboard "HDC fault not available" , this message appeared after replace Duracell with Bosch from Eurocarparts, but i wasn't convinced by Halfords.
thanks ,
