Vibrations after long time of stay by the dealer

Hi all,

I have some trobles with my D3 2006 HSE autom.
Couple of month ago I had problems to start the engine and after the engine was running it runs not very well.
The dealer was checking some things and based on the results with the tester he began to swap the injectors, high pressure pump and engine control unit - without any improvement.

After all the mentioned attempts he found the problem in an cracked walve and told me that my car was the first in lower Austria with an engine problem Wink

Anyway after two month of repair I got back my car and had incredible vibrations above 100km/h.
We made the following steps without any solution:
- Change of the tires
- Change of the break discs
- Check of the cardan joint

Would anbody of you have an idea what the problem could be?
The vibrations are starting by 100km/h, are sensible at the steering wheel and the whole chassis, the peak is by 135km/h and after that they will be lesser and are only sensible at the chassis and not the steering wheel anymore.

Thanks for your time!

Best regards
Andy

I checked the rear cardan joint and noticed a kind of snap in at the initail state (in both directions)
I think a cardan joint should be smoothly therefore I checked another D3 - with the same experiences, a kind of snap in at the inital state.

Today I had to interrupt the trouble shooting because I was not able to open the tailgate Evil or Very Mad
The cable end fitting was broken...
