vibrations that come and go

Holiday problems number 2
I have noticed on the autoroutr quiet a pronounced wobble-virbation throught the steering.
the type you get if the wheels are not balanced, however it come and goes.
it seems to come on if i go round a right hand bend (this is on the autoroute so the bends are shallow) and it virating when straight ahead; but going left round a bend makes it much better

any ideas

Could be bushes worn or all sorts.

But what I will say is that I had exactly the same problem in two of my previous cars (Both Audi's).

I was so concerned that I thought that I had a serious problem with balance or something on the last one, I took it into the dealer who gave it a good look over on the ramps (You could see them through the glass window into the workshop Thumbs Up ) then took it for a test drive. Nothing was found.

Came home and the vibration disappeared.

Put it down to the fact that the road service often had a slight ripple and a harmonic occured.

could be the brake Discs and/or EPB binding a little.

had the same a few years ago. vibration suddenly started on motorway - accelerating, decelerating and braking made no difference - it would suddenly dissapear as fast as it appeared !!

replaced rear discs and never had it again..
