Vibration at idle

Now the weather is getting cooler I'm starting to notice the excessive idle vibration again. All summer it's been smooth as anything.

Anyone got any ideas why the engine would vibrate more just because the outside temperature is cold, even when the engine is warm ?
Dealer just says it's fine like they usually do.

out of curiosity - why would the oil temp sensor casue the vibration?

note: I also have occasional vibration that the dealer says is "normal". Mine does not appear temp related though.
