Venture Cam. Again.

Did anyone manage to get a venture cam working with their D3? Or perhaps with a car pc? Put a bid in on one earlier on ebay (still a few days to go) and only then did I start trawling the threads on here and realise it isn't a simple task..... Embarassed I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Not normally, no Rolling Eyes Just had a mad rush of blood when I saw a new toy on ebay.

I blame Andrew for pointing out the J V Like sale I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I got a venture cam Thumbs Up problem is charging the dam thing.

Took it in my dealers and they charged it for 15 mins for me ..also tested it ..pretty good picture.

However its flat now and the docking station that fits in the RR glovebox is somewere in the region of £150 Shocked

Iv made a home made docking station with a couple of pins to rest the camera on to try and charge it ..but no luck.

I was going to try it on a wireless reciever to see if i could pick up the frequency , but untill i can get some charge in it im Censored .

The Suction mount that comes with it is very good though ..well made ..i have 3 of them !!! G4 Gone ...but not forgotten
