Vehicle won't switch off
Hi guys
Your help is needed again. I went out in my Disco 3 V8 petrol the other day, and when I came to switch off the ignition, the vehicle would not stop. Some of the power went off, like the lights around the gear shift and cigarette lights etc, but the ligniton lights stayed on. The only way to stop it was to dissconet the battery.
When I re connect the battery, the ignition lights are still on. Also the when I remove the key, the steering lock comes on.
Any ideas guys as to where to look and check ?

Don't think it's the lock as I forgot to say, I have it in the indepenant LD shop at the moment and they have tried a whole new lock with no avail. I am due to call them tomorrow to find out where we are up to, but from the e mail they sent me today, they haven't fixed it with the new lock.
So I was looking into getting as much info as I can before a go in to see them tomorrow !!
