Vehicle heights - a newbie question
In the process of buying a Disco 3 but would like some info on vehicle heights.
It will be a SE with roof rails, my query is
what is the absolute vehicle height e.g including aerials etc i.e what is likely to hit something entering under my garage door, when at:
1) Normal ride height
2) "Raised " off road height
3) "lowered access height"
Secondly when "locked down" at lowered height does it stay there so I can reverse into my garage and will it still be lowered when I sitch on next morning (hoping to fit into a garage that my previous S2 wouldn't fit into.
It will stop at lower high till you put it back less than two mtr.Home of RLD Hidden winch mounts Spare wheel Locks Trailer Body Fabrication ray@rld-tech.co.uk D3/4 sump plates MY 14 sump plates and the Discovery Sport wheel protectors Discovery 5 wheel locks

...or a Swede?
My D3 with roofrails squeezes into car parks on access setting that my D2 with its more prominent rails couldn't.What if the "Hokey Cokey" really is what it's all about?

So this gives 1890 as the min height - I assume that this is in access mode - however what is the height in normal mode. I am still unsure whet the min height is before I need to DUCK...
fyi - I normally go into access height for anything below 2.1m but that may be overdoing it.

If in doubt, Duck anyway!
I wouldn't sleep for a week if I scuffed the roof whilst in normal mode just because theory said I'd be OK What if the "Hokey Cokey" really is what it's all about?

Height with expedition rack?
Hi,
Anyone know what height the LR expedition rack is - I am thinking of getting one - but will it make parking indoors impossible?
Thanks
Marcus

I have an expo rack and spots and your just safe at approx 2050mm.
Before Xmas went shopping and car fitted perfectly into my local NCP, had it serviced between Xmas and New Year and it's amazing how a few lb's of air in the tyres will push it up above the 2100mm max entrance to the NCP...
