| VDO MAF sensor experience...? |

As per subject - I want to keep a spare MAF sensor on the shelf ‘just in case’ (I’ve had two fail in 3 years). The LR original item is about £190 but one made by VDO is half that price.
VDO look to be a reputable supplier but does anyone have any experience of their MAF sensors??

VDO was owned by Siemens and rebranded it as Siemens VDO. The common rail system on the TDV6 is made by Siemens VDO! In 2007 Siemens VDO was bought by Continental.
