You may want to make contact with forum member 10ForCash who is the best D3 mobile technician around (based in Derby) - he has the tools and skill to give you an honest opinion (and maybe fixes too) before you get screwed over by your nearest dealer to put everything rightSteve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

I will second what SN has said I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

1. Cruise control switches and/or wiring behind the airbag faulty
2. Transfer case ECU software needs updating, and X/Y switch needs calibrating
3. Does it say 'Engine System Fault'? Could be as simple as a blocked fuel filter (given the high miles), or (hopefully not) a turbo
4. Needs fault codes read to dechipher

You could try your local dealer to see if they get LR to pay for thr clock spring to be replaced. Say it is safety related as it can affect the air bags.
Get TFC to give a a complete service.“There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

The fault with the clock spring could also cause the airbag to fail to go off. Safety issue, should have been a recall (or at least argue that is the sase)“There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

They definately won't help if you don't ask.
I recon it is always worth a try, you are more likely to get somewhere as it relates to the air bag.“There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€
