Van Aaken Smartbox
I'm not representing Van Aaken in anyway but I saw on Page 21 of July's LRO their Turbochip competitor, the Van Aaken Smartbox - £470 allegedly buys you an extra 25bhp and 40lbft
Anyone seen one of these?

But if this is the same as the one for the TD5, all it does is lengthen the fueling pulse (as its an add on box), and came with scotchloks to connect to the injector loom! The turbochip option is a remap of the ECU, taking into account much more than just fueling (and I dont work for Turbochip)

'its an add on box' don't touch it go for re-mapping. And I dont work for TC or J&E In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Van aaken's smartbox is yet again a simple system of 'winding up' the common rail fuel pressure.....not advisable..nor does it deliver the performance and fuel economy gains of our Turbochip product.
The only interceptor boxes worthy of mention are the ones that control injector timing and there is only one company in the whole of europe that make such a product www.pbox.cc
