I know about the numerous posts about the Valeo wipers.
However, I was looking for the right hand drive version (steering wheel on the left side) and the um665 is not for sale here anyway (since it is for a left hand driving car).
And for some reason, Valeo does not publish any product info.
I guess the following product might be the one I am after:
ST UM655
Suitable for:
Mercedes-Benz A-Class (W168) 97-
Opel Zafira 10/98-

Zig,
Thanks for your answer but:
I know the UM 665, I have it on my car.
But:
1. It is meant for british left hand drive cars.
2. I can only buy the UM 665 in the UK. And it's quite a hassle with the invoicing, payment and booking... Transport quite expensive as well. Therefor I decided to buy locally. Some people get by

Hi Capt.,
I'm sure that the pair of wiper blades are identical, and so suited to either LHD or RHD D3s.
Best Wishes,

Hi Captain,
you are absolutely right! There is a difference due to the fact that the wiper arms come from the other side of the car.
I found out when I received mine. Please refer to my post (scroll down to end) on page 2 of the following thread: http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic45178-15.html where I explain how I fixed mine. It's not too hard and you end up with just the right layout. Mine are performing great now, also at high(er) speeds...
Regards, Paul

Captain - have you thought about the OEM wipers? The latest design seems quite good, usually a lot cheaper to source than the Valeo, especially for you.
If you get desperate and need some from the UK let me know and I can always bring some to Prague next time I come on business As you said though, they are handed left/right as the arm enters at an angle, so could be problem for LHD car with RHD (UM665) blades.

Hi all,
The UM655 seems to be identical to the UM665, not even a difference between RHD and LHD. Funny, I expected the spoiler to be the other way around. It seems Bushwanderer is right, although I believed what Pauleline wrote.
Strange that the UM665's are not sold here. It seems to be a speeding.co.uk specialty...
TallPaul, do you mean original LR wipers? Don't even think that something with the name Land Rover on it is cheap here in CR. I bought wheel centers in Belgium because they were almost double the price in Czech. And it's just a plastic cap with the LR logo on. Good to hear that the new ones are without noise.
Evo8, Thanks, I came over the Bosh wipers as well. At first sight they look identical to the valeo ones....
