vacuum testing valve blocks

hi

apologises but may i ask a daft question plse Whistle

if u wished to test the integrity of valve blocks etc would a simple vacuum hand pump with an intergral pressure gauge fitted be ideal

so that by attaching the vacuum hand pump it could therefore test to ensure the o rings are indeed sealing and not letting by on the valve block or would it give a false indication because its normally under a positive pressure

ie, if u fitted new o rings how do u know the rebuild is 100% , of course apart from the suspension dropping etc

it was just a thought if using one could be viable as a diagnostic tool within the air suspension plse

once again apologies and many thks in advance listening to me rattling on Laughing
