Hi All.
I’ve been reading the forum for now month and have finally got round to joining.
I have driven and owned many Land Rovers including freelanders and Discovery’s , and as such am used to LR cars and faults, having successfully rejected 2 discoII (facelift model) , but I just love the cars, even more so the new disco3 after a day long test drive in an HSE diesel.
I’ve been looking at getting a used Disco3, 05 reg in an SE spec. (HSE out of budget) Can anybody suggest points that I should look out for when viewing. I guess that checking the compressor works is a good start !!
I apologies if this post is in the wrong place.
Thanks

In most ways it is not worth worrying about the compressor and other possible faults as you will still have a long warranty.
I would be checking just for accident / off road damage. Zermatt silver 06 reg.
Gone but not forgotten !!!

Ask to see the fault history and service history. LR dealers should hold it all on record. Few will have been off road at this stage I would think. Most will be still ex demo as yet. There are a few rejected ones that dealers have had to repair, ask why they were being sold so early if not e xdemo?
