I have MY14 HSE and just stick the USB stick in the slot and select Aux as the music source on the radio.

regarding the mp3 usb stick … just plug it in the slot and it will probably be ok.

does seem to be fussy about some files though and if it finds one it doesn't like you get variable results …. stick not read or just portions of it.

You have to put the USB into the slot then go into the settings menu and select the source as 'USB' rather than 'Bluetooth' etc Thumbs Up

thanks for the replies just to update this I've sussed it out if you press my music on the right side of the orange box there is a small + sign this lets you into the cd/dvd ipod usb menus and I then loaded on a folder in my usb stick called music then put my albums in that which gives you the ability to search all folders rather than only see your first folder/album

once again thanks Bow down
