Hi,
Before I act and do some damage could some one answer this query......................
I have an old Nokia mobile phone which has been a permanent fixture in a cradle in my old Disco 3 for the last 5 years.
Having changed to a 2012 Disco 4 HSE Lux I find that the cradle has become obsolete, but the phone has a usb connection through a data/charge wire connection on the phone for use with my home computer, can this set up be used in my disc 4 and will it charge, or will I damage either by this connection. The Land Rover hand book is so confusing

i use the usb port to connect to phone and it charges fine with no obvious damage.
phone is new HTC so very power hungry and charges fine. phone asks when connected if i want charge only so portable audio will not be constantly scanning phone for audio thinking it is a usb drive. XC90 T8 R Design Pro
