Hi guys! I just got a D4 and l have a silly question ! ... Did the upper tilegate has a soft close mechanism ???!?!
My is really odd ... A have to slam it quit hard to close and I am afraid that I will brake the window!! I have to say that I can't believe that is the way of it.
Thanks.

Nope it doesn't, I 'thought' I had a problem with mine but its fine now, I lower the top door to about 10'' from closed them a firm push and alls good, my other half however insists on swinging it closed from a great height and often it half-closes, so she does it again, harder and almost impact welds the bl dy thing!
oops ps welcome to the madhouse

My MY16 is the same. Have to slam really hard. Dealer has checked and says its ok, and will become easier in time!
A search on here shows it to be a potential problem on D3 and D4, with various results on success.
