hi hope someone can help
got home to find the upper rear boot lid is jammed shut,when i try the latch i can here it trying to work but it seems to be jammed on the righthand side.
as i'm new to the model i wonder if it's a common fault?

Very well known issue, try doing a site search for +rear +tailgate +failure as well.

hi thanks for the links i should have searched myself  sorry
since i only got the car 4 days ago i'm going too take it back and let the garage sort it.
it's just a bummer as we are going for a picknick on monday and it's just not the same out of the side door!!
