I'm having the same problem, and its not a size issue.

If people could e-mail me the troublesome files to martin (at) disco3.co.uk then I'll see if it's a file problem or a gallery problem.
There were files uploaded yesterday, so I don't think there's a general gallery problem, but I could be wrong 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

I think it is probably too big, and is timing out when you attempt to upload - can you resize the pic on your computer first?06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

It is still 7000 as stated, however depending on the speed of your internet connection the server might get bored of waiting for your pic and give up before it receives it all
It does it to me here (at home) with pics of a few MB, didn't do at university but I'm on ADSL here and was on a 10MBit connection at uni 8)06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Hi Martin,
I am also having problems trying to upload a single photo - I have reduced the size of the photo 577KB but still get an error.
"Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 20971520 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 14016 bytes) in /home/disco3/domains/disco3.co.uk/public_html/gallery/include/picmgmt.inc.php on line 217"
Is it my ADSL causing the server to time out as previously posted or is there a problem?
Regards

Looks like a memory issue, I'll investigate and report back 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

As a rule I always tend to reduce my photos 1024x768 or similar before uploading them - its quicker for me to upload and quicker for others to view
Plus I don't gobble up Martins webspace so quick Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

I have reduced the size further to 1024x768 as suggested and I have managed to upload 13 photos (they are all between 310Kb and 130Kb).
Thanks for the advice 2012 D4 - SDV6 XS - Firenze Red

I've extended the timeout period, and increased the memory limit so hopefully this should be less of a problem with big files
Would appreciate feedback 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
