I must admit that I had seen the same on mine and had thought about it!!!
.....for about 5 seconds and then smacked myself on the head a few times and then came to the same general conclusion!!

I’ve had a price from a local specialist to upgrade my compressor to AMK that would require an update by them direct from Landrover, guess all updates would come from them

The AMK compressor will run ok on Hitachi software, but an Hitachi will not run on AMK software, some Discovery’s including mine are/where like that from the factory
It is very easy to install either software with the Iid tool, probably takes 2 minutes and that includes plugging it in the main difference is the AMK software runs the compressor at lower pressure thresholds to theoretically extent its life.It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

It's some of the more "critical" modules, when using Autologic. The best ones is probably the Autobox TCM
As part of the reflash, it does:
Block 1 update
Deletes everything
Block 1 update
Block 2 update
Block 1 update
Block 2 update
Block 1 update
Block 2 update
By this point, it has been flashing for 20 minutes, and you yourself

First time I used mine today to enable the timed climate in preparation for the BAS gsm remote !
I think all the warnings came on at one point !
I followed the advice on here, close your eyes and don’t rush !
