Unwanted Cruise Control
awaiting the arrival of the AA car has developed an issue that is occasionaly self selecting cruise control and trying to accelerate of its own volition.
So D3 off to the garage and will await which ever eurobox enterprise send out... Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

That's the fun of SWMBO having a D3, when one is fooked we have the other, and when they are both fooked (which has happened a few times) we have a Jazz!! Mind you in the light of the forthcoming Jazz recall for fires resulting from the window motor thingie might need a Toybota as well!!

Only use the D3 half the year as i'm away in the middle east with a HI-LUX for the other half... which suprisingly given recent events does not go wrong as much as the D3.
local dealer are being really good about it which makes it just about bearable.Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

I believe if you get towed in you are supposed to get a LR if under LR warranty. When I was towed in they gave me a choice of a Freelander in a couple of hours or if I needed a car straight away then I could have a FFRR Vogue.

I had that very same issue last year. Turned out to be a faulty switch module on the steering wheel. Very quickly sorted under warranty

Oh Wow
Seems to be a lot more serious than my experience. With me it was just "Sticking Switches" as shown up on the diag machine when they plugged it in. Second time the dealer saw that fault on a D3. Switch pack replaced & all good since 8)
