unwanted backside intrusion |
|
following on from my previous post re saggy seat covers, i had the two front squabs replaced as per TSB. i have now noticed that on the drivers side there are two pointy intrusions sticking up directly towards your posterior.
the protrusions are about 6" in from the sides and about 4" from the backrest. they dont quite poke you in the bum while your driving but one is right on the position where i place my left hand to hoist myself onboard. it feels like it will soon puncture through the cover.
needless to say another trip to the dealer to rectify what i asume is bad workmanship (the things are not evident on the passenger side) but i am tempted to try another dealer as this is the last straw in a catalogue of lies and incompetance.
has anyone else suffered this problem and does anyone have any thoughts on asking another dealer to rectify a previous dealers attempt at performing modifications as per official TSB.
i will try and post a pic with the exact location of the intruders

I've had my covers replaced - new ones with diagonal seam fitted - felt a bit odd at first, almost like there was a bar or the end of a piece of board just under the surface - but a few weeks later and I don't notice a problem now. D4 XS MY12 Galway
