Unused connector

I wonder if anyone can help. Just had the centre console up on my MY14 XS. Saw the fridge connector wrapped in foam but also noticed another single (I think) foam wrapped wire near the power outlets. Should have taken a picture I know. Any ideas?
Added pics now, if anyone knows what it does.

I'm not seeing a single wire, just the fridge connector.

The orange connector is the one I can't identify. The fridge connector is a multiple further to the rear of the console. Sorry about the vague pics.

Sorry that I can't help on the original question, but I see from the photos that you have the additional "aluminium" trim added over the centre console. Please would you let me know what the quality is like?

Thanks!

Hi Red Merle

Funnily enough I have received a pm from another member regarding same, both this morning.
I am very pleased with the trim having exercised the usual precautions.
I will put up a better pic this afternoon showing it on my car and I'll find the purchase details too.

Apologies for the delayed response Martin. I was waiting until I installed the fridge to remove the console again.
The wire is single red/brown.
